As of February 24th, 2020, Qwertycoin core team has begun testing a new reward algorithm as a part of achieving EPoW.

This reward algorithm has several different parts to the original reward schedule CryptoNote uses.

Before we begin to discuss the details of this change, I would like to clarify our philosophy and intention behind this change. The word ‘egalitarian’ stands for the following;

“Egalitarianism, or equalitarianism, is a school of thought within political philosophy that prioritizes equality for all people. Egalitarian doctrines are generally characterized by the idea that all humans are equal in fundamental worth or moral status.”-from Wikipedia

“ Egalitarianism is a trend of thought in political philosophy. An egalitarian favors equality of some sort: People should get…

Dear all QWC members,

How many old time members do we have in this channel? If you are more than 1 year, please let us know that you are still alive and still living in the crypto space.

We are now listed in multiple exchanges and over the past 2 years, we have seen coins, tokens and exchanges come and go. QWC is still going forward.

Devs are working on LMDB implementation for performance improvement on daemon side and also developing cross platform wallet that will work on not only mobile platforms (android and iOS) but also desktop and web…

Often you will find a comparative analysis between Visa and Mastercard’s transaction throughput vs. blockchain’s performance in unit of transactions per second.

You can easily find the average size of credit card transaction data online; about 500 bytes in average and its throughput; 5,000 transactions per second.

What these figures translate to in terms of blockchain (example: QWC) is like this,

5,000 txs per second x 60 seconds per minute x 2 minute per block. This translates to 5,000 x 60 x 2 = 600,000 transactions per block.

The size of each block has to be close to 300 Mb…

[..privacy… decentralization…. free from censorship]

I am sure most of readers on medium would have read enough about the importance and significance of our privacy, decentralization and being free from censorship of any sort.

We still want all of them but it seems to me that the regulating bodies do not want us to have it. Please read the article from the link below to find out more.

Major national and international exchanges will have to comply with these regulations eventually but there are some limitations to this in decentralized public blockchains, because

  • the ownership of an addresses cannot be…

Dear all QWC members,

Thanks you for your support on the recent market movements including additional exchange listings led by our international communities.

Up until June, tradings on QWC pairs took place in two exchanges, mainly Crex24 and BiteBTC. BiteBTC, which listed QWC with my personal funds, turned out to be an exchange that failed to build trust on our members. I apologize for the incidents. I personally wrote them emails numerous times but failed to get any replies regarding issues our members claimed. BiteBTC now has changed its name to Fedilo(fedilo.com) …

Hello this is Xecute from Qwertycoin team.

On May 17th of 2019, Qwertycoin(Ticker:QWC) is listed on CoinMarketCap(CMC).

Qwertycoin(Ticker:QWC) on CoinMarketCap

The bright minds and dedicated members of QWC core team, sincerely appreciate our community members who made this possible. I do not like using cliche but I must express that such accomplishment would not be possible without your continuous support.

This is a significant milestone. Yet it is not the end of our journey.

We have a vision and, together, we can show the world how QWC can make a difference.

Thanks for reading this post and I am also very happy and…

[Announcement — April 8th, 2019]

Dear all QWC members,

I would like to provide updates today.

- 3rd Party Exchange and Trading

In terms of trading, currently we are too, let me correct this, way too concentrated on one specific exchange and the shear sell volume on a price range is just mind-blowing. This must spread out over various exchanges to get the price moving.

We are now on Bisq exchange, a decentralized BTC and fiat exchange. It has relatively low liquidity like any other DEXs. …

[Announcement — March 19th 2019]

Dear all QWC members,

It has been a tough year for a lot of crypto communities. We witnessed many pumps and dumps, exchange frauds, government regulations, and dying coins. Well.. the good news is we are still here, working on improvements and adding more features.

Looking back last 12 months, the followings are the major events and achieved milestones users can notice.

- Exchange Listing

We are currently listed on Crex 24 (BTC), Bitexlive (BTC, DOGE), BiteBTC (ETH, DASH, BCHABC) and experienced exit scam exchanges: OctaEx, Crep Exchange, Altex. We will continue to add more reliable exchanges, mostly those listed…

I will make this post as concise as possible.

If it is a stable currency coin like Tether, its value in terms of dollar(currency) is fixed. What this means is that it really has no value to it beside a short term hedging instrument. The buying power of such coins in real world diminishes over time as fiat currencies inflate.

So these coins either print out more coins like fiat currencies or have to burn the supply to keep up with inflation of fiat currencies. Because otherwise, they keep losing its value over inflation. Period.

Do you still want to…
