Navigating the Launch Phases of Xena Finance

Xena will roll out in several stages, gradually introducing additional features at each step. This phased approach helps us ensure that every new feature is safe and solid while also providing a clear development roadmap to our community. It’s our way of guaranteeing that everything we introduce to you has been rigorously tested and is ready to enhance your trading experience on our platform.

Now, let’s break down and explore the steps of Xena’s launch phases.

Phase 1: Xena Liquidity Bootstrapping Event

Users are introduced to a beta version of Xena Finance in the initial phase. The Xena platform supports a variety of wallets that users can choose to connect with — giving them the option to interact with smart contracts and execute trades via our user-friendly platform.

• Launch: 9th October
• Duration: 4 weeks

Phase 1 mission aims to familiarize users with the aesthetics and functionality of the Xena Finance Platform and to bootstrap the initial liquidity for the platform’s functionality, which subsequently rewards early adopters with XEN tokens for actively participating & seeding liquidity

Participate in the bootstrapping of Xena Liquidity and claim your portion of bonus XEN rewards (5% of the total supply)

The earlier you join, the more substantial your rewards will be. There’s good news for traders too — earn Xena Points for your trading activities (1pXEN token for every $1 traded), which will later result in additional rewards during Phase 2 of the Xena Launch Event.

Phase 1 Details:

• The liquidity bootstrapping event will last for 4 weeks
• Users who provide liquidity to the Xena Liquidity Pool and lock their XLP tokens for 3 months will receive XEN tokens as a reward, on top of the standard yield for XLP depositors.
• ETH, cbETH, USDC(native) and USDBc will be the supported assets for the Xena Liquidity Pool.
• Users who provide and stake XEN/ETH LP tokens will earn bonus XEN rewards.
• Liquidity providers who commit to lock their XEN/ETH LP tokens for 3 months will earn bonus XEN rewards.
• 5% of the total supply of XEN tokens are allocated towards the Phase 1 Bootstrapping Event.
• All XEN rewards will be emitted and claimable daily over a 1 month period.
• All XEN token rewards will be unlocked during this phase.

Phase 2: xXEN Bootstrapping Event

Phase 2 marks the debut of the Xena DAO governance token, xXEN. To achieve participation in the Xena DAO, Phase 2 introduces incentives to users who participate in the xXEN Bootstrapping Event

• Expected Launch: Late October/Early November
• Duration: 4 weeks

Phase 2 puts the spotlight on XEN/ETH LPers & Early Traders

Early traders will receive bonus xXEN tokens based on their pXEN earnings from trading activities in Phase 1

XEN/ETH LPers and XEN token buyers will be able to convert their XEN into xXEN to receive bonus xXEN tokens during our Phase 2 Launch event

The xXEN bootstrapping event will last for 4 weeks; during this period 2.5% of XEN tokens will be converted and distributed to xXEN stakers

xXEN token holders will additionally gain the power to partake in the platform’s governance decisions and contribute to the Xena DAO, setting the stage for the more interactive Phase 3 Launch.

Phase 2 Details:

• The xXEN bootstrapping event will last for 4 weeks
• 2.5% of XEN tokens will be converted and distributed to xXEN stakers over the 4 week period during the event
• Users who have accumulated pXEN tokens during the Phase 1 event will get an airdrop of xXEN tokens
• Bonus xXEN token rewards will be emitted and added to user staked balances daily over the 4 week period
• Bonus xXEN tokens will adhere to the standard xXEN redemption process for vesting.
• Governance platform features will remain inactive during the Phase 2 Launch Event

Phase 3: Full Platform Launch

In the final phase, we unlock the full capabilities of Xena Finance platform. Users are now able to use their previously accrued xXEN tokens to be part of the DAO and participate in the governance behind the platform.
