Writing with the 9.7" iPad Pro Smart Cover

Ah! Here again!

Not sure what I’m gonna say this time. Let’s just say that writing with this keyboard is easier than expected.

I’m really very surprised how good it is, and how useful it turned out to be. My iPad now is much more than a simple tablet.

Yes I’m talking about the iPad Pro Smart Keyboard. I’ve just got the 9.7" and even if it’s my 4th iPad, I’m surprised more than I should.

I’ve tried iPad keyboards before, those Bluetooth with a shell that are supposed to make your life easier, but let’s be honest, it’s a lie.

Pair the Bluetooth, turn the keyboard on, hope that it’s charged, remember to charge it, and then finally start typing. And be frustrated with it because they keys are slow, or hard to reach, or too small or too big or else.

Yeah yeah I know, I’m generalizing. What I’m trying to say is that this very, very (no, really) very expensive official iPad keyboard, it’s actually working as it should.

No battery, very light and quickly detachable.

I love to use my iPad at home to read news, books and removing the cover it takes just a second now.

When I need to do something more serious, it takes just a second to attach it.

Anyway forza apex is downloading, 5 out of 18 Gb. Let’s hope it’s quick and good.

I’m really just typing because I’m enjoying my keyboard now.

One thing I just noticed is that I use too much strength on the keys and my hands are already tired. Weird!

I’ve also tried on my lap, works really well. And when on the couch, it’s a perfect companion.

Because who watch a movie or tv-show without another device next to them, who has the patience to follow all those secondary story lines?!

Honestly the only downside I found so far is that it’s not so intuitive how to put it into place when you want to write, or in the other 2 positions: the keyboard part looks always out of place when trying to assemble the right figure!!

I also love the change idiom button, as a multiple language speaker I love to be able to quickly change the keyboard with just a couple or presses.

Wow this opinion is becoming quite long now! Meanwhile Forza is only at 7 Gb. How slow is the windows store?! Well, at least it's free.

Well it seems I don’t have anything else to add. So let’s wrap it up and close it here.

Keyboard is great, but don’t expect to be equivalent or better than your laptop! Also it’s really, really expensive and that is honestly the biggest downside.

Maybe next month I will be able to afford a pencil and write an opinion with that!
