Replicating Zara’s Website Design: Tips and Tricks for Developers (Part One)
Inspired by Zara, built with Remix and GSAP for seamless, fluid animations. Also built using Sanity CMS, it ensures a smooth user experience while maintaining flexibility and customizability.
The first time I browsed Zara’s website, I was captivated by its unique UI design — a horizontal main carousel with nested vertical carousels. This dynamic structure provides a visually engaging way to showcase content.
Some might question whether carousels are truly necessary, even sharing link like “Do We Really Need Carousels?”. My response is this: while a carousel may not be essential for every website, our designs should leave a lasting impression. When creating a website, our goal isn’t to build just another generic page but to craft something memorable and distinctive.
This is the final demo inspired by Zara for mock-up purposes.
After tinkering around with the website, I roughly got the idea of what my project’s architecture looks like, drawing an architecture image for illustration.
