This is a great point. There’s a cost to doing something you enjoy, but it’s a first world problem. I’m sure companies like Yelp won’t stop their employees from quitting if they feel this job is not worth it, but I understand how quitting is not an option for many people as they are shackled to their jobs that they don’t love or don’t get compensated enough for because of financial, legal, and social reasons. Regardless, the worst thing to do is to complain because that does not solve anything and sometimes make things worse.
