I personally don’t find too much issue working with ES6 class syntax, especially when using React, mostly because it’s become formulaic in use within that ecosystem. There’s very little to surprise me.

However, outside of class usage within popular frameworks like React I still lean towards classless because I find it easier to reason about, more compatible with all run-time environments, and less “pretendy”.
