When you connect to a new Online service.

1.If you are not sure and you create an account to check, you can give it a different email address and a non-primary number and a different name. Many services collect more of your personal information than just online. So you can create a fake profile.

2.Read the Privacy Policy before signing up.

3.Before you sign up to a new app and website, verify its credibility with Reviwes and Scam Detector.

4.Before you delete an old account for privacy reasons, put a fake name on its name and address. Imagine you delete an account but your account data is stored by some companies.

5. When you provide e-mail and phone numbers for e-commerce, it is not possible to restrict them from going to different parties. It will be recorded not only on the internet but also in your order. Even the delivery person from the company can copy your data. So you can provide another email and phone number along With out your primary email. Imagine how insecure it would be if the email given to your bank was also given to the same online shops.
