Yes. A very good point. It is not my license, reputation, or firm that is on the line. It’s probably much easier to say I would do this or that from the sidelines when I don’t have as much at stake. I realize these particular types of suits have to be played out very carefully. The motive behind the suit is very obvious. It was meant to make our attorney in the associated family law case take a pause and start second guessing everything. We are known for being aggressive in our representation and they were definitely not gaining any ground in the case, so it was very clearly meant to set us back and put our client in a precarious position with her representation by our firm.
Basically it was very dirty pool.
