I think wedding registries are for older people who get mad if you don’t do them. In recent years, I have given cash money or donated to the honey-fund. I know there are arguments against both of those things, but I have sooo many dishes from when I got married, and I don’t even have anywhere to use them and I love paper plates for parties. So, I try to give the gift that I would want which is money to travel or to spend on an evening out.

Also, I think I saw you tweeted that you gave a trashcan. That is a great gift! Seriously, my in-laws still make fun of me for how excited I got about the overpriced trashcan they bought me for Christmas one year. It is a joy to use everyday.
