My neighbor’s boss pays for her childcare when he asks her to work extra. It’s incredible for their office loyalty and morale! They would do anything for him.

My job has a lot of expectations of after-work stuff. It isn’t officially “required,” but it is definitely what we spend the bulk of our babysitting dollars on. I feel the “having kids was your choice” attitude a lot even if it isn’t meant that way.
