One more hike

The US Fed Reserve is about to raise another rate again.
The interest rate is to fight for inflation, and since the inflation has not yet come down, it is time to hike the rate.
Despite how the market reacts, the rate has to increase to fight inflation until the inflation goes down to a controllable level.
That is the sole job of the Federal Reserve.
Otherwise, why the Fed exists for the first place?!
