How Itachi Escaped From Edo Tensei In Naruto? Here’S The Answer

Edo Tensei is a technique where the user controls the undead that he raises.

Now, in certain cases, those who know the Edo Tensei seal and have a certain level of strength can escape.

But Itachi can escape from Edo Tensei’s control in another way, namely Kotoamatsukami.

1. Itachi programmed Kotoamatsukami to activate with Itachi’s Sharingan. His orders were to protect Konoha

Itachi had predicted that after his death, Sasuke would transplant Itachi’s Sharingan eye to get the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

2. But in the Fourth Ninja World War, Itachi used the Kotoamatsukami Genjutsu program on himself

You must know the explanation in the first point, because it has an important role in freeing Itachi from the control of Edo Tensei from Kabuto.

Remember that Kotoamatsukami already exists in Naruto, but the Genjutsu program will only activate if there is a connection with Itachi’s Sharingan, which Itachi predicts will be transplanted into Sasuke.
