Predictions for the future:

The movies will be a place where people go when they want to socialize and yell at a screen with friends. It will be encouraged to voice your witty remarks at the screen. If you actually wanted to see a movie you would stay home and watch it on your own big tv with your own gourmet popcorn and comfortable couch.

The only occupations will be in entertainment and computer development/maintenance. We will automate everything until there is only creative things that computers aren’t good at. We will do that and fix the computers when they break.

There will be fewer competition for some consumer electronics like the rice cooker. There are like 3 brands, and they are perfect.This needs to happen for coffee makers and other hot water generating liquids.

Apps will be merged into webpages. Phones will be glorified web browsers. HTML spec will include all the features that phones have. This is already happening.
