So now I go again …

I suppose I should update some trivial stuff. I am currently in a hotel waiting for evening when I will have a brief visit to Haridwar. Haridwar is a deeply religious place on the banks of Ganges. It is well known for its beauty and more importantly it’s hindu religious importance.
I arrived at Roorkee at about mid-day through a train. I shared the compartment with my father and a family whose son was also taking admission to IITR. By the look of it he was much more muscular and I can wager he was a repeater. Not much was discussed with them.
And as always I woke up pretty late, it was almost 11 when dad woke me.
The scenery of Uttarakhand is amazing. Through the window of the train I could see the mountains far out. And the clouds were spectacular. There is plenty of greenery.
Roorkee is at the foothills of Himalayan range so you can see the mountains decorating the horizon. They are not visible from the hotel because of high buildings surrounding the city.
I have yet not seen the IIT. I am waiting but somehow I am calmer than usual. It’s strange since I know I won’t come back to Lucknow for about 6 months.
PS. Well, I will post the update about the trip to Haridwar when I return tonight.
