Hipsters are only cool to hipsters. Also they may not be rolling in dough but they are definitely privileged (which, are maybe ideas people conflate?) — how else are they moving to/ living in / displacing communities in large cities and paying skyrocketing rents? I often find that hipsters are also money- adjacent (perhaps they don’t personally have money but have parents who do).
