I endorse Kindle Voyage for readers

The (black and white) Kindle changed my reading experience since Day One. The best model, for me, is Kindle Voyage, the top dollar Kindle line.

The case against Paperwhite, which I still own:

  • Heavy: Paperwhite is less than ideal to my wrist than Voyage
  • Sluggish: Some milliseconds are wasted for every turn of the page

That’s it, huh? Yes, lack of nimbleness drives some geeks crazy. And, some geeks, hoping I might not be the only one, go the extra mile with the color-blind Kindle:

  • Read newspapers and text-heavy magazines
  • Have every text-heavy article, like TV recaps, delivered to Kindle (thanks to Instapaper, Send to Kindle, and etc.)

By the way, for PDF documents, I use iPad Air with retina display. Buy the GoodReader app for PDF reading.

Kindle Voyage: $199, 6" Display (300 ppi) with Adaptive Built-in Light, PagePress Sensors, Wi-Fi — Includes Special Offers

Drop me a line if you are interested in a used Kindle Paperwhite. I have a good seller rating on Amazon.com.
