Nice post! Similar problem for uber-organized nerds striving to meticulously file each email into its “proper” folder, using traditional email-clients having a strict, tree-like, hierarchy of folders....

That is, until GMail came along and rescued us with labels/tags. Now, items can be simultaneously categorized in several different ways, and the neat-freaks can be happy — each with his/her own private “method in the madness.”
