People don’t trust the media or the moderators. No matter who you are, you have some bias based on things you like and things you dislike. Knowing that there will always be some bias, the kill switch just leads to more bias claims by the person who is either losing the debate, or feels outnumbered. I am “unaffiliated” but I have bias as well. I don’t like Mr. Trump’s actions, but I don’t believe that CNN or NBC are the only credible sources of information. I visit Fox News everyday to see the news, as well as CNN and other news outlets. Mr. Trump has made his supporters believe that FOX News is the only credible source of information, so if your a Trump supporter, only a FOX moderator that doesn’t ask Trump any hard questions is sufficient. The problem with only believing FOX is that Mr. Trump gets to put out his own message and facts. It’s the same when it is the other way around. I think the thought of a town hall style debate made people think that the bias factor would be somehow diminished, but they are still asking people with biased opinions.
