“ OkCupid is a part of the Match Group family of businesses (please see mtch.com), which as of the date of this policy includes websites and apps such as Tinder, OurTime.com, BlackPeopleMeet.com, Twoo, POF, Meetic, FriendScout24, Match, HowAboutWe.com, and other companies and websites.” https://www.okcupid.com/legal/privacy

Ok, we get it. Okcupid was bought and incorporated into the “match group”. Thank you to the original developers and founders which made a great actually free and mostly functional dating website. I’m glad you took the sell-out/buy-out and got rich. I’m also sorry now the btards at Match Group are making the ones left behind at Okcupid cannibalize OkCupid’s great service to squeeze every nickel and dime from people. It was great while it lasted. I guess Match is trying to downscale and to do so they are trashing OkCupid so eventually they can close the site and focus on Match.com and Tinder instead. If the original developers try again after their non-compete clause time limit is up, please let us loyal users of OkCupid know so we come and make that site as great as OkCupid was just last year.
