Edit (16/07/2020): Twitter just got hacked big time. I stand by all my points in this article. We still need more hackers.

Hacker Initiation

Are you interested in ethical hacking? If so, you might enjoy this new tutorial.

A while ago I stumbled upon a vulnerability on a website with millions of users.

Yeah, you heard that right: stumbled upon.

The thing is, I’m not a hacker. Far from it — I’ve never tried to hack anything.

I was browsing the website as usual and realized it had a potential vulnerability. And then I got scared, really scared.

I knew enough about these things to know that:

a) What I found could potentially be very dangerous for them

b) A wrong move in possession of this knowledge could be problematic for me

So I did what you’re supposed to do — I reported it. 4 times.
