The sarcasm in this one is strong. Lol. I think you can’t make people see what they don’t want to see. Sadly. No matter how much facts we throw at them, they see what they perceive as underlying “facts”. That is why we still have lots of problems.
I try to reflect on my own biases a lot because no one is without biases. And the fact that a lot of people hate to be called out on their biases, because it makes them look bad, they deny it consciously and subconsciously, making the problem even more complex.
The worst crime of the memo, is when underlying biases are disguised as logical arguments based in fallacies and generalisations, it draws out the people who refuse to see what is going on by clinging on this semblance of logical argument that proves their inner biases.
