I did not know about Medium 15 minutes before choosing to use it. In fact, I found it on a “Top 16 Blogging Platforms” list that has somehow made it to the top of the Google search results. The main appeals for me about Medium are as follows:

1. I am not a regular blogger and just want to get content online without having to worry about how it will fit with the rest of my blog. No setup. No menus. No administration.
2. I do not care about building a permanent audience. This blog is for a specific purpose with a selective audience. I’m not trying to attract readers for future content.
3. I want the blog to look clean and have a minimalist feel.
4. I want a reader to be able to find all the posts easily, preferably all in one place. This one actually took a while to figure out, but it seems that simply directing readers to the user page https://medium.com/@yale will do the job.
