These days, the Crypto world is growing rapidly and we hear words such as DAO, GameFi and Metaverse more and more often.
I believe that Crypto is going to change the world and I have been working with crypto for several years now, mainly in the field of gaming. In fact, Crypto games, such as Axie Infinity, are developing at a very fast pace. Games are one of the areas that are closest to the “Metaverse”.
However, I believe that Full On-chained Game is essential to realize the Metaverse. I will discuss about Full On-chained Game later.
In order to create Full On-chained Game, I have started an organization “FrontierDAO”, which is a Decentralized organization and a creator of Decentralized games.
In this article, I will talk about Full On-chained Game and the FrontierDAO.
What is Full On-chained Game?
As the Full On-chained suggests, this is a game where all the data of the game is stored on-chain. This is a game where not only the characters and lands, but also the character’s status, skills, battle results and even the battle logic are recorded on-chain.
In current Crypto games, only the characters and lands are NFT, but the core logic of the game is off-chain.
The aim of the Full On-chained Game is to uproot that part of the game and make it on-chain.
Why Full On-chained Game is necessary?
There are three reasons.
Decentralized
Off-chain games will be impossible to play if the game company goes out of business. Sure, the NFTs remain. But the only way to play it again is to hope that another company will create the game for the NFTs (there is a precedent in CryptoKitties). The future of the game would depend on the gaming company, this is centralized.
In a Full On-chained Game, the game logic is on-chain and will continue forever, even if the company goes out of business. Also, it is not centralized, it is run by a DAO.
Thus, being full on-chain and DAO go hand in hand, and are essential to the realization of the Metaverse.
GameLego
Full On-chained Game will be able to be combined with other games.
DeFi is also called “Money Lego”. Many DeFi protocols are combined to create an ecosystem. In the same way, Game will be a Game protocol and should become “Game Lego”, allowing game worlds to be combined with each other.
For example, you will be able to use characters from other games, adventure on other game lands, buy items from other games, and so on.
This is how I think the Metaverse world will be constructed.
Memorable
In an off-chain game, the NFT remains, but all the valuable experiences gained in that game are lost.
As in the real world, we experience a lot with our characters and we grow together in the game world. the off-chained data is lost when the game ends.
In a full on-chain game, every data in the game is inscribed in the blockchain. This means that you can see how you have developed your character and how you have fight.
In this way, I believe that users feel safe and enthusiastic about the game.
What is the Full On-chained Game “Crypto Frontier”?
CryptoFrontier is the Full On-chained Game where you explore new frontiers and fight for supremacy.
Players develop their characters and explore new lands. Alternatively, they can fight other players for their territories.
Battles will occur spontaneously in each region. We do not expect to organize centralized tournaments. This is the aim of Crypto Frontier, to be truly decentralized.
Battles will take place automatically by staking your character and after a certain amount of time. You can choose any field you like to battle on.
The results of the battle are recorded on-chain. It is impossible to falsify your battle record and you cannot cheat.
