Overview of Puppetry AI Dashboard
When you login to the tool, you see the following options available in the dashboard of the tool:
Image Generator Tab:
This is the AI image generator tool found in the Puppetry AI dashboard where you can describe the image you want to generate in any language in the prompt box.
You can also select the ratio of the AI image viz. 1:1, 9:16, and 16:9. There are some advanced options like ‘Complete Prompt’, ‘Generate 5X’, and ‘Seed’ option.
After generating images, you can favourite them, give a tag, write a note/comment, download it, and even forward the image directly to the Animator tool where you can turn it into an AI talking head video.
Pro Tip: Out of ideas for image prompts? Just write a single line in the prompt box for the required AI image, and hit “Complete prompt”. You will get a detailed and comprehensive prompt in a snap.
Presenter Generator Tab:
This is the AI presenter generator tool of Puppetry AI dashboard where you can generate the presenter (image avatar) of your liking for the AI spokesperson videos. This tool has the following option for you to choose from:
- Gender: You can choose either male or female.
2. Origin:
You can choose any of the 8 origins of your AI presenter like African, American, East Asian, European, Latino, Middle Eastern, South Asian, and Unspecified.
3. Fashion Style:
Using this option, you can select any of the Fashion Styles of your AI presenter, out of the total 20 styles available.
These are: Trendy, Traditional, Casual, Sophisticated, Business, Athletic, Emo, Goth, Punk, Hipster, Grunge, Steampunk, Cyberpunk, Victorian, Hip-Hop, Camouflage, Cowboy, Formal, Prom, and Unspecified.
4. Image Type: This has two options to choose from:> Default and Cartoon.
5. Colour Selection:
There are 4 options to choose the colour of you AI presenter image. They are:> Skin Colour, Hair Colour, Lipstick Colour, and Eye Colour.
6. Make A Video Option: When you have selected all the aspects of your AI presenter image (like, Gender, Origin, Fashion Style, Colour, and Image Style), you are ready to click the ‘Make A Video’ button available there.
Pro Tip: If you are in a hurry, or you just don’t want to go for all the steps of choosing different aspects of your presenter yourself, there is a button called ‘Choose for me’.
Clicking this button will choose all the aspects of the presenter automatically in a random way. You can try this option as many times, until an AI presenter of your choice is generated.
Image Assets Tab:
This is the place for all the AI images which you have generated using the AI image generator tool of Puppetry AI, and which you have favourited.
You can make an image favourite any time by clicking the ‘favourite’ button on the image itself. You can do the reverse (unfavourite) by clicking the button again.
Apart from the ‘favourite’ button, there are two more buttons on the image preview: the image ‘download’ button, and one other button which takes the image to the animation tab where you can convert the image into an AI avatar talking head video.
When you click on an image, it opens up in a popup window as shown below:
The popup window has the following options:
- Add Tag: You can give tags to your AI generated images.
- Comment: You can write a comment or note for the image that you can refer to later.
- Prompt: The popup also shows the AI prompt that you used while generating the image.
- Stars: You can give 1 to 5 stars to your AI images as per your liking.
- Download Button: You can click and download the image to your device.
- Image Conveyer Button: This button takes the image to the animation tab where you can make the image talk and convert it into an AI spokesperson.
Animation Tab:
This is where the real magic happens. It’s the most important part of Puppetry AI video maker tool, where you get all the options to create your stunning, life-like AI avatar talking head videos.
I have listed below some of the options found in this crucial section of the tool:
- Image Uploader: Using this, you can upload your own image or a photo of a person from your computer system that you want to animate and make an AI avatar video with.
Pro Tip: For best results, please make sure you upload a close-up photo of a person’s face looking straight in to the camera with lips closed. The quality of the output video will also depend upon the quality of the uploaded photo/image.
2. AI Avatar Faces: You will find three already-created AI avatar faces shown on the screen that you can click on any one of them to animate into an AI video.
3. More Faces Button: If you don’t like any of the above mentioned three faces, just click ‘More faces’ button, and you will find so many built-in AI avatar images of very realistic human-sounding persons.
As on March 20, 2024, I have counted all the built-in AI avatars found in the tool, and they are 330 in number.
Text Input Box: After selecting the AI avatar presenter of your choice or uploading one, you have to enter the text into the text input box that you want your avatar to speak in the final video.
At present, you can input a total of 3600 text characters in the text box that equals to about 800 to 1000 words limit. This has never been a constraint for me, due the the fact that I have bought the Puppetry AI Lifetime Deal in which I can generate as many AI videos as I need.
4. Premium AI Voices: Puppetry AI has got so many premium AI text-to-speech voices for its users to use in their AI video generations without any limitations.
You can choose from hundreds of male, female, and child AI voices in almost any major and regional (yes, you read it right!) languages of the world.

5. Animate with Audio: If you don’t want to use the AI voices of the tool for your AI video, you can record (not in Puppetry itself) your own audio and upload it to the animator tool.
6. Consent to the Puppetry Terms: Before you finally hit the ‘Submit’ button, you have to compulsorily click the terms box and give your consent to follow their terms of service and privacy policy.
A glimpse of the terms reads like this:
“I agree to follow all terms and conditions as outlined by the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
This includes not engaging in bullying, not using someone’s likeness without consent, abstaining from posting nudity. I also commit to follow the law wherever I am.”

My Experience
As stated above in the disclaimer, this review of the AI Text To Video tool i.e. Puppetry AI is completely based on my first hand experience after using it myself for a couple of weeks.
Frankly speaking, embarking on my journey with Puppetry AI was like unlocking a new realm of creativity. Initially skeptical about the nuances of AI-driven video animation tools, my apprehensions were quickly dispelled by the intuitive nature and ease of use of Puppetry AI tool.
