Ypsilanti Heritage Festival 2016

This past weekend we held our resident spot at the front of the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival. Although some of our staff and volunteers got soaked during the Saturday afternoon downpour securing our tent, everyone was in high spirits as we watched kids play our coin drop game for prizes, handed out stickers and goodies and sold the latest edition of our YCS t-shirts (which, are just about sold out. But don’t worry, we’re getting more!)

A very special “thank you” goes to our staff member Gary who volunteered his time and efforts for the majority of the 3-day fair. It was his knowledge of the history of the fair that helped us navigate logistics and planning and lots of helium balloons!

Here are a few highlights including Superintendent Edmondson with his father Rev. Dr. Clarence Edmondson — a dynamic duo!

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
