Where do you hope to be aged 30?

Happy, in love. With a good book/music collection. Otherwise, I guess I don’t really mind. If you had one quote to live by what would it be? I don’t really have a quote in mind, but I guess my advice would be to always try and understand everyone you meet. Only good can stem from that.

How did it feel on your first day?

I can’t really remember — all I remember doing was cracking jokes about arson as an ice breaker… Not really sure I’ve changed much.

Are you scared of leaving?

Yes and no. I’m very much looking forward to having a little more freedom to pursue what I want, and not be obliged to do things I don’t like. I also get to choose to be close to the people I really value, and being able to spend time with them and not have to worry about school or whatever would be great

What are you most afraid of?

I’m most afraid about having the people I love drift away: I’m not really sure how I’d deal with that. But that’s life, I suppose. It’ll be okay.

What advice would you give your children leaving school?

Make an effort with the people you truly value.

What event in your life has shaped you the most?

In that very annoying way, I don’t think I was shaped by one big event; probably meeting, throughout my life, my best friends- they’ve had the most influence on me and made me who I am.

Why did you choose this object?

Because I think a lot of people would be confused if I didn’t. It’s my baby. Also I’m a horrendous douche.

What does this object mean to you?

A lot — I’ve played with and for wonderful, wonderful people. I guess it’s my way of making something beautiful, I don’t know.

What does an education mean to you?

I guess it’s a focus of passions; it’s shown me what I love, and what satisfies me. I don’t really think there’s anything more I can say than that.

Background to object?

It was a present from my Mama for my 14th birthday, after not playing music for years. Best decision ever.
