While you live along your life, people say from the old days that “birds of a feather flock together.” This is because people like to be with others who share same values and beliefs. When it comes to lifelong relationships, however, opposites are attractive.
Opposite personalities create a perfect, self-sustaining friendship — an effortless connection—because their opposite emotional and intellectual skills complement and complete each other. That’s why the key to finding your soul mate and best friend for life (or even your perfect partner in business!) depends not only on you having a firm grasp on your own personality, but also the ability to identify your polar opposite—the best match for you. For example, think about when you first met your best friend, or your lover. It will not take long to find out that you and your precious other were very different, in fact, almost on the opposite sides of an aspect. For me, I like to talk a lot, and I do talk a lot, while my boyfriend likes to keep quite. He’s curious in everything, so even though he keeps quite, he likes to ask questions, but I don’t usually get curious to new and unusual things. I love reading books and watching documentary shows while he loves playing video games, and watching action, thriller movies. This should be enough to point out that we ARE, quite opposites, right?
The researchers of KWML test, believes that when it comes to romantic relationships, partners are at the end of each spectrum. And the spectrum they use is King/Queen, Lover, Magician, and Warrior. It takes only about 15 minutes, so why not, I tried it. Turns out, that I’m a Lover and a Magician.
In the KWML test, there are two spectrums, cognitive and emotional spectrum. The two ends of the cognitive spectrum are Motherly (nurturing, passive), and Fatherly (assertive, action-prone). The two ends of the emotional spectrum are Left Brained, and Right Brained. These two spectrums intersect each other, creating 4 different domains. If you are Motherly and Left Brained, you fit in the King/Queen domain. If you are Motherly and Right Brained, you are a Lover. For Left Brained and Fatherly, it’s Warrior, and lastly, Left Brained and Fatherly, a Magician.

Me, as a Lover, these are the comments that I received from taking the test. It says that <With a gift for art and mystery, Lovers share a deeper meaning and vision of the world.>

They also give you the strengths and weaknesses of being a Lover, and a list of celebrities who are categorized as a Lover.

You can also see the results for the other three domains as you wish.
As mentioned at the beginning of the study, that opposites attract more, the test says that I will be attracted to someone who fits in the Warrior category. So, I tried it with my boyfriend to see if that is the case.
It turns out that with all the quite talking and calmness, my boyfriend did come out to be a Warrior. I was pretty shocked by the results, since I would never thought of him as a Warrior, due to the word’s initial meaning and his daily traits as a quite guy.
By introducing another online psychological test, I wanted to point out the fact that there are numerous amount of psychology tests that are available at your hand. These tests might help you pick out your drawbacks and help you fix those problems, but it should not overwhelm you and taken too serious as if the results you got is all you have and nothing else. For professional help, you should consult to professional doctors or therapists.
