Entrepreneurship is a tough road. This journey becomes tougher when one takes an uncharted path. However the determination to bring solutions to complex challenges for segments impacting a billion people makes this journey meaningful. Yellow Plate is the solution to the complex challenges surrounding the necessity Transport/commercial vehicles segment.

Every commercial vehicle across both goods and passenger Transport in India bear Yellow Number Plate. The industry is highly unorganized and mirrored with challenges and inefficiencies. We took upon us to solve Industry’s most complex challenges one by one. We named it Yellow Plate.

Yellow Plate is on a mission to digitize the necessity Transport/Commercial Vehicles segment. It is an enabling and empowering platform for millions of stakeholders across Demand, Supply, Services, and Product, connected with both the passenger and goods transport commercial vehicles.

This bottom-up approach to building our start-up from a perspective never done before started in 2017. Second half 2017, 2018, 2019 went into on-ground learnings, structuring and giving shape to the unstructured vision, team building, building the base architecture where every stakeholder mentioned above across vehicle categories could be digitized, enabled and empowered.

We believe 2020 is going to be the most challenging and exciting year for Yellow Plate. Yellow Plate launched the first half of its first phase within the commercial car segment, where retail customers can avail car rental services, book cabs/taxi from the vendors available on the Yellow Plate car rental marketplace via the web (https://cabs.yellowplate.in) and android app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ideatransport.consumerapp). You can also support these local businesses involved in providing car rental, cab hire, taxi booking services by booking via this marketplace and help them grow their business.

Yellow Plate shall be launching the second half of its first phase in February month; enabling and empowering demand and supply segment stakeholders within the car rental segment. Coming months will see more product launches across vehicle categories for both passenger and goods commercial vehicles.
