Yaoundé City and Its Attractions

Yaounde City, the capital of Cameroon is a city in which you can find not only traditional African culture but also a unique blend of European ways. With its rich history and stunning architecture, the city holds many cultural attractions like the Presidential Palace converted to the National Museum which exposes all the regions, their culture, artifacts, unique art works and much more.

The city’s zoo is also worth visiting as it has plenty of animals that you can see up close. There are also other museums and art galleries which give you an insight into Cameroon’s rich cultural heritage.

Yaoundé City is also home to some of Africa’s greatest hotels. Some of these include the Sheraton Hotel & Towers Yaoundé and La Renaissance Yaoundé Garden Hotel which are both located along Boulevard du 25 Août Avenue in the heart of the city center.
