Paul Cantor, I confess. I haven’t seen the movie yet. Mainly because I’m getting very bored of romance musicals — uncommon in English, but oh, so common here in India. But I like the conflict between ‘pure music’ and ‘music that people listen to’. Thanks for pointing it out. I’ll put it on my watchlist. Thanks :-)
