Long time no see, Manhattan.
Ever since the pandemic started, people without essential reasons don’t travel with subway at all — including me.
I remembered the days while I was in Asia this January — never imagined that this virus would came across all countries, that fast, that furious.
Never imagined that New York, this city, would be this quiet, lunch time, on weekdays.
Maybe, dwelling on the past is not good and healthy, especially in the current moment. The more we think of the old “normal”, the more we feel lost.
After all, humans are not the animals that adapt changes.
What came out after all these?
“The dark does not destroy the light; it defines it. It’s our fear of the dark that casts our joy into the shadows.” — Brene Brown
