Yield Monitor receives grant from The Algorand Foundation

Yield Monitor, a multi-chain portfolio tracker and infrastructure toolkit for DeFi investors (Beta) and developers (Alpha), has received a grant from The Algorand Foundation to incorporate the Algorand mainnet into the Yield Monitor database.

The Algorand Network will become Yield Monitor’s sixth incorporated mainnet, joining Avalanche (AVAX), BNB Chain (BNB), Ethereum (ETH), Fantom (FTM), and Polygon (MATIC).

Algorand will be Yield Monitor’s first non-EVM mainnet addition.

We’re honored to have the support and confidence of The Algorand Foundation. Expanding our product beyond EVM mainnets has been a goal for Yield Monitor, and a growing ecosystem like Algorand is a perfect fit for us. Their focus on combining performance, scalability, and environmentally sustainable infrastructure very much aligns with our own vision for what accessible blockchain data should be. Long-term vision: building data-driven tools that support multi-chain DeFi investors and developers.

For investors and traders, Yield Monitor offers asset, liquidity pool, and yield farm data in the form of wallet tracking and visual charting tools. Where available, registered users can also:

• calculate impermanent loss,
• view order book and trade volume metrics, and
• discover similar pools and farms across different protocols.

More advanced features like dashboard-style portfolio management and cross-chain trade routing are being planned.

After mainnet integration, Yield Monitor will begin onboarding leading Algorand DeFi protocols into the database. This will create opportunity for DeFi investors, developers, teams, and TradFi / CeFi organizations looking for new exposure to the Algorand financial ecosystem.

Algorand DeFi investors will be able to:

• track wallet assets held on the Algorand mainnet
• chart asset, liquidity pool, and yield farm performance
• confirm auto-compounding DeFi investments
• discover similar Algorand pools and farms different protocols.

DeFi, CeFi, TradFi organizations will be able to:

• instantly add Algorand DeFi protocol data to their products
• offer users exposure to Algorand DeFi protocols
• build new product offerings on top of Algorand protocols

Yield Monitor is focused on building database infrastructure that supports individual builders and teams with scalable solutions to enhance user experience, helps avoid the financial and technical burdens of in-house data infrastructure, and fosters faster product deployment.

Note: API tooling is in Alpha and should be used as a single part of one’s larger DeFi data infrastructure toolkit.
