This program has been created to reward loyal YieldNest users, particularly the early adopters restaking who are exploring the DeFi ecosystem. We want to encourage everyone to try out restaking and are ready to help anyone on their exciting journey into the world of liquid restaking.

What are Seeds?
Seeds are our unique version of points that are initially earned by
restaking ETH on YieldNest.
Simply restake ETH on YieldNest to receive ynETH. As a ynETH holder, you immediately begin accruing seeds over time. The more ETH you’ve deposited (ynETH held), the greater the amount of seed points you will receive.
Seeds will remain in your account and only stops accruing if staked ETH is withdrawn from YieldNest. As long as you hold ynETH, you will continue earning seeds.
Where can you find your seeds? Go to the YieldNest app, connect your wallet, and find the dashboard, where you can view your total Seeds.
How to Earn Seed Points & Calculations (+EigenLayer Points — & More)
For every 1 ETH you stake on YieldNest, you will earn 2 Seeds every hour.
As an example, if a user stakes 10 ETH, they will receive 480 Seeds per day (2 Seeds * 24 hours * 10 ETH).
This is illustrated in the formula below:
- Total Seeds: # Seeds earned
- ETH Staked: # ETH staked
- T: # hours where ETH is staked
- Seeds Rate: # Seeds earned per hour per ETH staked
If you decide to stake fewer than 1 ETH on YieldNest, you will also be eligible to earn Seeds — the number of Seeds you will receive will be proportional to the amount of ETH you stake (i.e. .001 ETH staked earns .002 Seeds per hour).
Epoch 1: Special Seed Boost Launch Program
Exclusively available for the earliest users, we’ll award users a +400% boost on Seeds during the first 7 days of the YieldNest Mainnet launch.
Throughout these 7 days, users who have staked ETH on YieldNest (holding ynETH) will receive a 5x boost on their seeds).
Stakers during this period will enjoy a +400% boost in Seed earnings. The base rate + 400% = 5 times base rate earnings. For instance, staking 5 ETH would net users 1200 (240 * 5) seeds daily, accumulating 8,400 seeds over seven days instead of the regular 1680 seeds.

Referral Program
Another way to earn more Seeds is through our referral program — refer a friend today to get started.
- +25% boost on Seeds for the 30 days following their first referral and 10% of the base rate Seeds on their friends’ ETH deposits indefinitely.

TLDR: Users who refer or are referred get a one-time 25% boost for 30 days, which stacks with other boosts. Referrers also receive a 10% bonus of the base rate * ETH deposited by the referred.

Here are some things that we are working on:
- Seeds for Liquidity Provision: Users who provide liquidity on external DeFi protocols with ynETH will earn Seeds
- Time-Limited Boosts: New boosts will be made available to increase your Seed earnings (limited time only or based on certain goals)
- Loyalty Boost: We want to build a long-term relationship. Every day, you earn an additional +0.5% loyalty boost, which is capped at 100% and adds to your other boosts.
As more integrations and partnerships are introduced, more opportunities will become available to earn seeds, including adding liquidity on external DeFi protocols, utilizing other liquid restaking tokens, and more.
EigenLayer Points
ynETH holders will also receive EigenLayer points — 100% of these points earned by YieldNest will be redistributed back to ynETH holders. This means ynETH holders on YieldNest will receive dual rewards (Seeds and EigenLayer points) throughout the duration of this program.
