Striking alligator attack
Hard news:
On July 27th, 2016, around 7 in the morning, there’s an alligator attack happened in Charles River, near the Boston University beach.
John Smith, a 37-year-old man, also a Boston resident, swim in the river every morning as he can for the past five years, most of the time with his 7-year-old golden retriever, Hank. This morning, when Smith is getting close to the shore, Hank swim pass Smith. When the man make back to the shore he realized that Hank swim back to attack an alligator. The alligator is 15 feet long, it didn’t fight with Hank long, the flight last less than 30 seconds. Hank made it back to shore with 17 stitches in his back left leg, but is otherwise ok. Smith watched the whole thing on the shore and said: “He’s my best friend, I’ll never go swimming without him.”
After this attack, the alligator is still in the river, please be aware of it. The Boston University didn’t really respond to this attack, neither the animal control or the police. We will provide more news if there’s any new information.

Early Wednesday morning, there are people walking and exercising along the Charles river. The sun is out and the weather is perfect for swimming. Take a close look at the river, there’s a man swimming at the side close to the Boston University beach. The man is thirty-seven-year-old named John Smith. Since he moved to Boston, he swims is the river every morning as he can for the past five years, usually with his 7-year-old golden retriever, Hank. Smith has Hank since it was a puppy, Hank is Smith’s favorite swimming partner.
This gorgeous morning, Smith is heading back to the shore after a few laps. When the man open his eyes and see the shore, he saw Hank is swimming toward him. Instead of stopping beside Smith, Hank swim past him. Smith stood up and look around for Hank, he saw that Hank swam back to attack an alligator. The alligator is 15 feet long, looks unfriendly with its sharp teeth. Smith is worried that Hank will get hurt or maybe worse, but he fight wasn’t long, it’s less than 30 seconds. Hank reach the shore with 17 stitches in his back left leg, but is otherwise fine, he can still walk back to his owner, Smith.
Smith watched the whole thing on the shore, Hank went back to him safely. You can tell that he was so happy from his big smile on his face. “Hank is my best friend, I’ll never go swimming without him.” said Smith. After this thrilling attack, the alligator is still in the river. Even though the location where the attack happened is close to Boston University, they didn’t really respond to this attack, neither the animal control or the police.
