RETROSPECTIVES on Project 1

First project as a UX designer was a great challenge for me, since all of my previous design works were based on ‘my problems’. Getting to know about survey, user test, and iteration really helped me understanding the real problems and finding the best possible solutions. As I had an industrial design background, I had a design solution in my mind that was kind of set (now I realize, this is my habit that I need to fix through this course), but my design solution totally changed as went through interviews. Even though I still need to fix my habit, I feel confident that I can lead the solution understandable for the users as I went through user testing, and that would be my strength in UX design. It was very helpful to meet and get advise from Stacey and Jesse. They might have not the best user(since they are UX designer?!), but they suggested a better direction to develop my prototype.
