Mysterious Galaxy Phone with SM-G389f Model Number Spotted

Hello, making into today headline is a new Samsung Galaxy phone with model number SM-G389f. We got this headline first covered on TechnosAmigos which reported that the device has been cleared by FCC for sale in United States. Yes, you heared it right! United States.

We have made some searches and we found that this could well be Galaxy XCover 4 or more preferably XCover 3 successor, if Samsung goes with any other name than XCover 4.

Samsung Galaxy XCover 3 was launched with model number SM-G388f last year and it’s the rugged phones following the IP-certification [exact IP-XX number not known yet].

Regarding the launch date, predecessor was launched in April 2015, so it’s nearly time for XCover 4. Looks like there are technical problems which is delaying the launch, but it might be out very soon.
