Douglas Rushkoff on How Growth Became the Enemy of Prosperity – and How To Fix It
R.U. Sirius

Read the book as well, and it is remarkably thought provoking. As a small business (who previously worked for many years at a large tech firm) I have a much higher value for a “craftsman approach” to building a business, as opposed to the profit maximizing approach many large businesses use. I think society needs more thriving small businesses. Not only does this promote variety and enable better products to emerge through hearty competition, I also believe that is creates a more robust society (Nassim Taleb agrees, just read Anti-fragile).
