Love this piece. Completely understand the idea of just wanting to be normal, and talk about what’s happening on Netflix, or certain sports, and weekends can actually be weekends. But no, instead I want to talk about building businesses and create services and products for people. I get excited about the stuff that many would perceive as “work”.
Also yes, I have changed what I do so many times but for the past couple years I have never felt like I want to quit because I absolutely love what I do and I love where it can go even more. That’s what keeps me up at night, or on my iPhone around people, or anything else people may consider “antisocial” but in reality I’m being social with the people connecting to my services and my content online…. And I absolutely love it! Gives me the adrenaline to write more, push more, share more and just DO MORE.
This is all the result of doing something you love. You just do it and the rewards just seem that much more amazing because you’re not doing it for money, you’re doing it because you love it and when people show their gratitude for that, you appreciate it all that much more.
So you don’t quit, you just keep working on getting it to where you want it to be.
Thanks for posting.
