The Graf Zeppelin

It’s dusk 7th of August 1929. The whole of New York is getting ready to say goodbye to the Graf Zeppelin as it departs for the first world circumnavigation by airship and the fastest yet by air, aiming to beat the previous record of 175 days into a whopping 21 days. As planned, 21 days later it lands in New York completing a historical feat. The Graf Zeppelin was an enormous ship; she was 237 meters long and fitted with a passenger lounge…
