We’re thrilled to announce that PlanSnap has been awarded government funding by Innovate UK to work on an exciting project with The University of Kent, and we’re hiring!

The £150,000 grant is equity-free, and will allow us to hire a Data Science Associate to lead a project that uses data science and psychology to further our mission to be the global go-to way to get friends together for any kind of social occasion.

Team PlanSnap will be supported by four academics across three different academic disciplines from the University of Kent — Computing, Engineering and Psychology — led by Dr Fernando Otero who specialises in machine learning at the School of Computing.

KTPs are a UK-wide government programme helping businesses to improve their competitiveness and productivity through better use of knowledge, technology and skills that reside within the UK academic knowledge base.

We’re thrilled to be working with the exceptional team at Kent and look forward to what we can achieve together.
