Why choose Yorba over competitors like Unroll.Me

  • Yorba offers everything you need to manage your digital footprint. Unroll.Me only lets you unsubscribe from mailing lists. Yorba lets you unsubscribe with a click, delete accounts easily, find and cancel subscriptions, and manage your entire digital footprint in one place.
  • Yorba actually unsubscribes you from mailing lists. Platforms like Unroll.Me seem to work, but get this: they don’t actually unsubscribe you–they just suppress those emails from hitting your account.
  • Yorba’s never been sued by the FTC for deceptive practices. The whole goal is to reduce your digital footprint, not make it worse. With Unroll.Me’s challenging past, it can be hard to trust them. The difference is that Yorba is actually transparent. You can see what we store–and how we store it. And plus, we don’t like our data to be used or sold (that’s kind of the reason we exist), so we certainly don’t sell your data.

How much does Unroll.Me cost?

Unroll.Me is free for use, but you get what you pay for. In this case, you are their product–they read, organize, and resell your inbox data to make it free for you.

How does Unroll.Me work?

When you mark a subscription as “Unsubscribed” in Unroll.Me, they automatically move all future emails from that sender to your mailbox’s “Unroll.Me>Unsubscribed” folder.

So technically, those emails still hit your inbox, but they get filed away so you don’t see them.

Yorba.co’s process

  2. Go “Home”
  3. Navigate to “Suggest accounts to review”
  4. Select “Keep” to keep those newsletters in your inbox
  5. Select “Unsubscribe” to unsubscribe from that newsletter

What email providers does Yorba support?

Right now, Yorba works on top of Gmail, but we’re working hard to prioritize the email providers you use every day. Have a suggestion? Join Yorba and drop us an email.

How much does Yorba cost?

It’s $6 per month (if billed annually) for Premium access. You can unsubscribe from mailing lists with our free Basic account as well. See more details on pricing and features available.

How does Yorba’s unsubscribe work?

When you give access to Yorba, Yorba looks for identifying information to differentiate a mailing list from a personal email.

Once Yorba identifies the mailing lists, it submits an unsubscribe request in order to ensure that the sender unsubscribes you from the mailing list. So even if you delete Yorba, you’ll still be unsubscribed from any mailing lists you unsubscribed from with Yorba.
