Being an entrepreneur in The Bay Area VII
Goodbye August. Welcome September.
Sales sprint, sales strategy, on boarding vendors, developing partnerships.
All speed.
Monday began by meeting with Calista Tee, to talk about future events organized on Albert’s List, and how her vendor network could benefit from a platform like Youcanevent.
Our team gave her a product tour, and presented the latest events generated on Youcanevent.com
Our meeting was amazing and we even had time to practice a little bit for the fight Connor McGregor VS Floyd Mayweather.

The best moment of the week was on Tuesday when we met with Corporate Event Planner of Netflix, Bryant Gevertz.
With 7 years of event experience, Bryant is a highly accomplished and results-driven Event Manager with a proven track record of event development (from conception to completion), effective marketing campaigns, and building client relationships with companies and vendors.
His event experience has spanned from organizing a 10,000 person trade show, a 3,000 person sales conference, multiple corporate conferences, group retreats, educational summits, pitch nights, and social events.
Getting this feedback was important and valuable for improving our product that event planners love.
We want to make Youcanevent.com the work Hub for event planners and event vendors worldwide.

Later that day, we had the chance to go to an amazing event.
This event was designed to promote the new book by one of the top 5 Angel Investors in the world, Jason Calacanis (learn here how to do an event for your business launch).
Jason’s books teach both Founders and aspiring Angel Investors, how to do their jobs properly, and in the most successful way.

The event was organized by David Cao, from f50 at DingDingTV.

We even had the chance to pitch our startup to Jason Calacanis, and show him the Silicone Valley’s fastest growing event startup.
As we mentioned before, our objective is to serve all the businesses located in the Bay Area, and having big corporations, small and medium business, startups, institutions and organizations all using Youcanevent.com to plan their events.

Wednesday was time to get on the road again, and use one of our most promising sales channels.
Offline events.
An event organized by Walk.Me talking about mobile growth, and user experience development, was a great chance to engage with the event organizer, meet more potential leads, and discover another amazing venue.
We also had the opportunity to meet Nichelle Lyster, one of our recently interested event planners, willing to join Youcanevent.com to work side by side with our customers.

Another busy week.
I can event,
We can event,
