so you know, this reads like a hit piece.

“That means I cannot easily share this picture of Renee Zellweger’s metamorphosis (which I learned about last night) from Chrome to Whatsapp. Or Chrome to Gmail.”

if you’re not going to learn how copy and paste work, i wouldn’t worry to much about it’s version of intents. Luckily for me, my iOS 8 apps have been updated for new share sheets.

useful widgets and quick settings is more baffling; you could turn on wifi after turning on airplane mode to get cellular off too. Widget’s in the NC also have the advantage of being available to you in any app; rather than having to exit and returning to home screen.

“On Android, say you have twitter installed and you click on a tweet from your browser, e.g a tweet that has been linked to in an article, it opens it in Twitter.”

Apps can do this too, with modified URLs. This is how chrome opens up map links in google maps on iOS etc.

“I’m guessing this ties in to #1, that apps cannot be as closely integrated (with Intents) as on Android.”

again, this is completely available, and easy to find with a 30 second google search.

“back button” the pull back gestures is more consistent than the back button in android. (before my 6+ i was an android user from my gnex to my note 3 (with a gs3 inbetween for good measure)

I’m guessing that you should learn how to use a device before writing a blog post about it.

Would love to know your findings about how gnow is better individually; as i find them to be basically the same.
