This is so well articulated and unbelievably true. There is a fine line between passionately advocating for your client and making defamatory statement and attempting to make defamatory statements in and outside the courtroom about the opposing counsel. I dealt with a rather nasty lawyer who went for personal attacks about my weight, hair, and husband among other things when attempting to intimidate me outside of the courtroom. Thankfully he’s now been disbarred but this stuff still happens all the time. Thanks for covering this important topic
