Graduate and Free.

I was told to work hard at school because these are the most important years of your life.

I must say I totally agree with these fine words of my mother, throughout my education I have always aimed to give (my) 100%, but really who can give 100% every single day? I tried my hardest.

I think it is imortant that as long as you try YOUR hardest, (I must express YOUR as we are unique beings) that is all that matters.

I am very happy with my achievements; they did not come easy and luckily I have a very strong work ethic that pulled me through. There have been some ups and downs, achievements I tried for but did not acquire (I state acquire as any achievement is a success) and also acheievements I unexpectedly acquired.

All I can say is my eductaional journey has kept me grounded.

Graduate. What is next?

Well initially I thought, JOB. I need to get a Job and begin my career, thats the right thing to do isn't it? Then I asked myself, what do I want to do? Does anybody actually know what they want to do or who they want to be? Do we have to be somebody? NO.

At present I feel that people feel they have to be somebody, to prove themselves to people who don’t really matter because as a matter of fact YOU is who matters to yourself. I believe we as people, friends, family and strangers, need to realise inner happiness will shine no matter what job you have, how many followers you have or what you just ate for dinner.

I graduated in July 2014.

What am I doing now? I am a freelance Interior and Lifestyle Stylist. I must say, I loved school but I am so glad to be free doing what I want to do.

Education is the first step into your working life, it is definatly the most important but thats not just it, there is so much more out there to experience and to learn. I have realised that I dont have to be at a certain point in my life right now as most people would assume they have to be. We just have to do it our own way; we do have at least 40 years worth of Career to excel into. Thats Double the amount of school educational years.

Just to point out we are leaning and developing everyday, regardless of title.

Personally I believe that one day, I will just fall into the place I am ment to be; as we all shall; doing life our own way.
