“Everything is so beautiful when you stop looking for flaws”

Researches have shown that around 97% of girls are unhappy with their skin or their body shape. Almost every other girl has grown-up playing with Barbies, while media, on the other hand, plays a crucial role in projecting “Hourglass figures & flawless skin as the standard of beauty”. Well, if you’re a curvy woman or anything that thinks the same way, read this article till the end, and dump this prejudice to the dumpster. Here I have pointed-out how fashion industries, bloggers and beautiful people are breaking the body-shaming stereotype together.

  1. Fashion Industries

Fashion designers and retailers are now promoting the “Big Is Beautiful” slogan by stocking-up heaven cute range of plus-sized clothing online. Now you can say buy-buy to the hassles of returning online products & can take advantage of using the best discount codes in US. Brands like, Rosegal are promoting “Fashion is for everyone” by offering amazing deals on their plus size clothing and offers special discounts with Rosegal coupon codes to reward them. While the eminent designers like Michael Kors, H&M etc have shown that “every woman should be represented” by showcasing curvy models on the runway.

2. Social Media Challenges for “Beauty-Stereotypes”

Honestly, When my sister was in high school, a growing-up girl with skin breakouts, bubly features and cray-cray brows, she always wanted to be naturally pretty, same as she used to see her idols on the TV she said. She woke up early to layer tons of makeup on her face to match the so called beauty standards of society.

3. Body positive stars and bloggers

“If you don’t conform to the certain beauty standards, earth is probably not the best place for you to live”-say the beauty stereotypes. Besides people, who see curvy women as a sack of potatoes, there are people like Ashley Graham (Model), Nabela Noor (Blogger & Youtuber), Bonjourclem (Youtuber) etc, using their fat for making ways and being advocate for women like them. The flaunt their curves with pride and tell the women that It’s not you, it’s them! Raise your chin high and go ahead.

4. Winnie Harlow-A living legend

Winnie Harlow is an eminent figure across the western world that inspires all women around the world with her courage. She is a canadian supermodel with white patches all over her body due to loss of pigmentation. Those patches are not that rare and are not painful but makes skin look different. She uses those patches to be an inspiration for young women that feel nervous to appreciate their flaws. With her charizma, she has inspired the toy company, Kay Customz Dolls to create patchy-skinned dolls to teach little minds to embrace all skin types.

While she allowed the world to celebrate a unique face of beauty by being the cover girl for many popular fashion magazines including ELLE and L’Officiel.

Beauty comes in all shapes, colors and sizes. There is no exact measures, skin tone, or hair color that make someone beautiful. Long legs, flat belly, thigh gaps, natural waves, blue eyes, natural tan and blah is damn pretty of course, but girls and guys, this is not where the definition of beauty ends.
