Most Powerful Gods Weapons In The MCU

The Marvel Cinematic Universe contains a plethora of extremely powerful weapons. Rocket Raccoon’s repulsors, Captain America’s shield, and pretty much anything else Rocket Raccoon touches… Nonetheless, none of them are in the same league as those best described as god weapons. These tools of destruction are a sight to behold, wielded by some of the most powerful beings in existence and often granting their user some very impressive abilities. So, why not go through them and break down what they can do and who has used them over the years? Just for kicks! There are also minor spoilers for Thor: Love and Thunder ahead. Let’s get right into it, without further ado.

The most Deadly GOD’S Weapons Ever Created

Gorr the God Butcher used an incredibly powerful sword to slice his way through the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s deities in Thor: Love & Thunder. Of course, the mortal was also defeated by weapons that, given the cosmic nature of their design, should only be wielded by gods. Throughout the MCU, there have been numerous examples of deities using weapons that are stronger than any design that mankind could devise. They could be quite traditional in appearance and function, or they could be completely out of this world in concept. Regardless, these weapons have the potential to take down Galactus or Arnhem.

1 The Golden Mace

Hercules made his MCU debut, and he was seen wearing his famous Golden Mace, which he wields in the comics. It’s as iconic to Hercules as Mjolnir is to Thor, and it’s served the Olympian well in the battle over the many centuries he’s lived. While it is known as the golden mace, the materials used to construct it are stronger than Earth’s Vibranium and Adamantium. When combined with Hercules’ sheer strength, the deity is nearly unstoppable in battle. It never bends or breaks, despite being a crude piece of equipment in comparison to some of the regal weapons of other gods.

2 Necrosword

Gorr employs the Necrosword to assassinate the Marvel Universe’s gods. This is straight from the comics, but the sword on the page is actually All-Black, the first-ever Symbiote. Knull, the god of the Symbiotes, uses the Necrosword to take over the universe in the King In Black story. It’s unclear whether the plot will be adapted for the big screen, but it’s clear that the Necrosword has an intelligent mind of its own. That distinguishes it from other weapons, and it takes some of the universe’s mightiest gods to stop the God Butcher from unleashing his wrath of terror with the object.

3 Infinity Gauntlet

Thanos famously wore the Infinity Gauntlet, which gathered the most powerful objects in known reality, the Infinity Stones. The gauntlet, which was created by the dwarves, had to be able to withstand the cosmic energy of the stones, which are so powerful that they killed Tony Stark and injured Thanos and Hulk. The stones and gauntlet work together to reshape reality, altering time and space to the user’s liking. Few things can compete with the gauntlet, and it took the Nano Gauntlet to reverse the Infinity Gauntlet, essentially fighting fire with fire. It’s unclear what gods like Thor, Zeus, or even Khonshu would do with the piece.

4 Mjolnir

Mjolnir is the hammer of Norse mythology that has always been by Thor’s side. The magical piece of weaponry, which has its own mind, is certainly loyal to Thor, but it has also allowed other wielders to take its power. According to the legend, whoever is worthy will be granted Thor’s power. The characters who can lift the hammer in the MCU are Vision, Jane Foster, Captain America, and Odin, and it’s consistently shown to turn the tide of battle. It may have been destroyed by Hela, but it rose again under the care of the Mighty Thor, perhaps as strong as ever in Thor: Love & Thunder.

5 Stormbreaker

Thor needed a replacement after Mjolnir was destroyed. Thor built Stormbreaker by traveling to the dwarves’ forge and crafting a weapon in the heart of a star, with Groot literally lending a hand. Stormbreaker is as powerful as Mjolnir. It’s crucial to locating Eternity because it’s one of the few objects capable of tapping into the Bifrost, allowing Thor to travel anywhere in the universe. It also channels the Thunder god’s abilities in a way that few other weapons can, but it can be wielded by anyone; it lacks Mjolnir’s specifications.

6 Gungir

Odin has been a wise voice in Thor’s life and one of the entities responsible for maintaining peace in the Nine Realms. Part of that power comes from the sword at the Allfather’s side, a legendary weapon that has seen the Asgardian King defend against all threats to chaos. Gungir, like Mjolnir, is based on Norse mythology and inspired the spears used by both the Asgardian Guards and the Valkyrie in their respective armies. The design of Gungir is regal, but opponents would be foolish to underestimate the magic and strength that can be channeled through the spear.

7 Lightning Bolt

Zeus is yet another deity introduced in Thor: Love & Thunder, and comic book fans had no doubt anticipated the appearance of the god of Greek mythology. He is the king of kings on Olympus, but he is also known for his lightning bolts. According to Greek mythology, the bolts were created by Hephaestus, a gifted blacksmith. While Zeus has mastered the use of these weapons, Brunnhilde and Thor quickly picked up the technique, taking turns wielding the bolt against Gorr. It was one of the few pieces that could compete with the Necrosword.

8 Crescent Moon Staff

Moon Knight’s godly lineup was inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology, and Khonshu had to be a part of it. In terms of imagery, the god of the moon wields a staff bearing the crescent moon itself, straight from the comics. It is more than just an offensive staff used in battle. It can also control the moon above Earth, with Khonshu changing the night sky with the power of his staff. Is it just a channel for his gifts, or does it help to grant them? That’s unknown, but it’d be interesting to see how a mortal like Moon Knight would handle using the Crescent Moon Staff.

9 Ten Rings

There are numerous theories as to where the Ten Rings of Shang-Chi and his father came from, but the most likely scenario is that they are a divine gift. The rings are associated with Fin Fang Foom in the comics as a series of space weapons rather than anything magical or mythical. But, as evidenced by Carol Danvers, Wong, and Bruce Banner’s investigations, there’s something odd about the MCU’s version. It’s easy to imagine the gods wielding these rings, and Ms. Marvel hinted at their legendary and powerful origins further. The Ten Rings allowed Xu Wenwu to rise to power in the most dangerous way possible.

10 Hela’s Helmet

In theory, Hela’s Helmet should be a defensive piece of equipment, protecting the goddess of death’s head. However, the magical item has been repurposed as a weapon. The helmet’s spikes can summon knives that have been shown to slay hundreds of Asgardian gods. Hela has even removed her helmet and used it as a hand weapon, an unexpected move that caught her opponents off guard. It’s not as powerful as a godly device like Mjolnir, but it’s powerful enough to aid Hela in defeating Asgard in Thor: Ragnarok. #entertainment #celebrity #movie #trailer #anime #videos #funny https://www.topideas.site/8-most-powerful-god-weapons-in-the-mcu/?feed_id=7084&_unique_id=62e9a76fed54a
