Erling Haaland

Erling Haaland is a Norwegian professional football player, currently playing as a striker for Borussia Dortmund and the Norwegian national team. Born on July 21, 2000, in Leeds, England, to former footballer Alf-Inge Haaland and his wife Gry Marita Braut, Haaland began his football career at a young age.

He made his professional debut for the club at the age of 15 in May 2016, becoming the youngest player to ever play for the Norwegian second-tier league. He finished the season with 44 goals in 40 appearances for Salzburg, earning the attention of several top clubs.

Haaland’s form continued in the 2020–21 season, as he scored 27 goals in 28 appearances in the Bundesliga. He also scored 10 goals in the UEFA Champions League, becoming the fastest player to score 20 goals in the competition’s history. His impressive form saw him win the Bundesliga Player of the Month award four times in a row.
