Review: I shopped for the first three days of the 21, but have yet to get to day 3 because day one’s lunch serves six and I live alone. It calls for a can of beans and a can of tomatoes. I couldn’t use 1/6 of each can and throw the rest away. I learned that “baby marrows” are zucchini and “cos lettuce “ is romaine, and “rocket “ is arugula, but I finally gave up and ordered a different book. I still don’t know what a paprika pepper is. What I did make tasted good but I just can’t get through all the unfamiliar ingredients that turn out to be (except for that paprika pepper) available.

Review: As a post-graduate, I find myself struggling to make time for meals, much less meals that are actually good for myself. Perusing the internet, I stumbled upon the Dash Diet Cookbook, so I decided to give it a shot. I never have bought a cookbook before, so I figured why not start with something cheap, simple, and healthy? Within the week, the cookbook had arrived fast and I could not have been any more eager to get started.
Since I like to workout, the first section of the book I turned to was under “Poultry.” To my surprise, I was introduced to a wonderful list of ingredients I would need to prep, before I would begin. Once I was ready, again I was shocked with the clear and simple steps to follow, for the “Italian Style Rosemary Chicken,” it only took five simple steps! Of course, I was more than delighted by the wonderful taste of the herbal, somewhat spicy, rosemary chicken; furthermore, I was really happy to see the nutritional information below the page, which is provided for every dish you can make in the book.
Anyone who is looking to break up the daily minutia of eating only what you know to make by memory, not only is this cookbook super easy to follow, but it is a great start to kick-up a new, more healthy, diet! I cannot wait to take a deeper dive into this cookbook, as I know I will be putting a smile to not only my face, but all those who come over to visit.

All in all, a good cookbook with variety for anyone trying to be more heart healthy, without the need for hard-to-find ingredients. It’s nice to see someone is taking the time to consider what the average shopper can afford, especially right now.

Review: The recipes are really a hit or big miss. I bought it after reading the great reviews, but little had I known that the author is British, resulting in a completely different flavor profile than I am used to. For the price, it isn’t bad. But the food is generally weird.

Review: Superb cookbook for beginners and experts alike with quick, simple recipes that taste great. The instructions are thorough and extremely easy to follow and the outcome will absolutely blow your mind! The book provides you with very helpful health tips and even comes with a meal plan to assist you in your journey. There are a plethora of options to choose from but my favorite dish so far is the Louisiana Turkey Burger, it only takes 17 minutes to prepare and the flavor is marvelous. I highly recommend everyone to purchase this book and I can’t wait to explore more recipes soon!
