You can apply for a Schengen visa (short-term visa) for a stay of up to 90 days over a period of 180 days. The Schengen visa is valid for 26 countries, which means that you can travel freely between all the countries of the Schengen State once you enter any Schengen country.
The 26 Schengen countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Iceland, Italy, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Slovakia and Switzerland.

Procedure to apply for France visa from Pakistan
Here is the process according to the visa types
France Tourist Visa From Pakistan Requirements
Short stay visa application form duly completed and signed by the applicant. In case of minor (s), the form must be signed by both parents.
Two (2) recent photographs (With White Background) of the applicant.
An ordinary passport or other recognized travel document, valid for at least six months from the date of expiry of the requested visa. This document must have at least two blank pages. Please bring the previous passports, if any, and attach them with the copies of the application on A4 size paper to the pages used.
Photocopy of your national identity card
Third-country nationals residing in Pakistan must provide supporting documentation attesting to the legality and authorized duration of their residence.
Original and photocopy of the family registration certificate issued by NADRA (in English or with a certified translation in Urdu)
For minor children (under 18 years of age) traveling with a single parent, written consent from the other parent is required with a photocopy of their CNIC card.
Original letter signed by applicant’s company / employer stating name, position, salary, duration of employment, employer’s address and telephone number, purpose and duration visit to the Schengen State (s). If the candidate is a “student”, original letter signed from his school / college or university.
Proof of personal income:
• Original bank statements for the last six months
• National tax number (NTN) certificate for the two previous years and proof of payment of income tax (FBR)
• Last three payslips
Proof of accommodation (confirmed hotel reservation, rental agreement clearly stating your name, rental date and address of accommodation) covering the entire period of the trip. See possible waiver of the hotel reservation (in France only)
Copy of the flight reservation (s).
If the trip is a package tour, attach a detailed itinerary.
Original and copy of a medical travel insurance policy of at least 30,000 euros. The policy must cover medical expenses and hospitalization for the entire duration of your stay valid on the Schengen territory, as well as the repatriation costs. Check out the valid list of approved insurance companies in Pakistan approved by Schengen Partners in Islamabad.
The embassy reserves the right to request additional documents.
Unnecessary original documents will be returned with the passport, but only if copies are provided by the applicant upon request
France Business Visa from Pakistan Requirements
Short stay visa application form duly completed and signed by the applicant.
Two (2) recent photographs (With White Background) of the applicant.
An ordinary passport or other recognized travel document, valid for at least three months from the date of expiry of the requested visa. This document must have at least two blank pages. Please bring the previous passports, if any, and attach them with the copies of the application on A4 size paper to the pages used.
Photocopy of your national identity card

• Certificate of the Chamber of Commerce valid for the current year
• Recommendation for a Business Visa from the Chamber of Commerce
A letter of invitation from the private or public organization established in France, on behalf of the applicant and indicating the dates of the trip.
Proof of commercial relations with France (invoices paid, proforma invoices, bills of lading, purchase orders)
Confirmed hotel reservation. See possible waiver of the hotel reservation (in France only)
